Parking professionals can now join DTMaps Parking and update their parking place availability online.

What you should wait from DTMaps Parking.
DTMaps Parking will allow you to:
  1. Use an automated procedure to updated your parking availability online.
  2. Promote you business through DTMaps Parking
  3. Distribute your parking availability to thousands of DTMaps users.

2. How To Update Your Parking Availability

Enter your parking record
  1. Enter www.dtmaps.com
  2. Click on Enroll 
  3. Follow the enrollement procedure

Once you have your User Id and Password do the following in the Main Menu:

  1. Click on the Admin option
  2. Click on Parking
  3. Click on Add
  4. Use the map to situate your parking plot precisely
    (Use the address field as in the maps application)

Kind.  Select Professional Parking
Name/Profile. Give your parking name (as users will identify it)
Parking Zone. Select the option No Parking Zone.
Parking Sensor Id. Leave it empty
Parking Place Id. Leave it empty
Description. Describe your parking lot and provide instructions on how to reach your address.
Link URL. Enter here the URL link of your parking lot web site 
Private Object. Select No.
Expires. Select the free period for your test or suscribe to a plan.

  1. Click on Submit

Your parking record is now online!

How To Update Your Parking Availability
The instructions that follow will allow to your legacy system to send information on parking availability to DTMaps:
  1. Your legacy system should have access to the Internet
  2. Your legacy system should be able to POST values to a Web page
  3. Whenever necessary (usually when the number of available parking places change) your system should post to the URL page:

    http://www.dtmaps.com/dtmaps/plot-input.asp

    The following parameters:

    user. Your DTMaps user id
    update_pass. Your update password (not the principal password)
    item. The DTMaps parking lot item id.
    status. The status (0=unavailable, 1=available) Use 0 when the parking lot is not available to car drivers.
    status_desc. The number of available places and a custom message like: 156 parking places available 06.02.2008 08:15.

The system will respond with a string composed by an error code and a description string:

0|Item Updated
1|Wrong password provided
2|Wrong item id
There is no limit to the number of parking lot entries that you can enter in DTMaps.
There is no limit to the number updates that you can send to
