DTMaps Locator GPS, integrates the latest of the GPS/GSM technologies, the Google Maps mapping software and the DTMaps interface for locating persons and objects. For the first time, an application will run on both the mobile and desktop devices and be part of other applications requiring GPS functionality.

GC-101 is using the GPRS service to upload the RMC sentences containing latitude, longitude, speed and time to the DTMaps servers. It is specially designed for the intensive tracking applications, such as person location, fleet management and life security.

GX-101 is specially designed for the vehicle tracking application, equipped with Siemens GSM module and GM-158 (MTK-3301 GPS chipset) GPS receiver. The rugged metallic structure is a best match for in-car environments. Opened I/Os are provided for sensors and relays. To secure your favorite cars, GX-101 will be your best choice.

Application Fields
When applied to persons, DTMaps Locator GPS, can be very helpful to localize: pets, young persons, disabled persons, elder people. When applied to vehicle or boats, DTMaps Locator GPS, can be used for fleet management, location and status of individual boats, international transportation, school transportation or any other object o vehicle needed to be tracked. The additional 6 input I/O will allow you to get information on additional elements of your vehicle or boat like: temperature, oil level, battery level, break status, gaz level and engine output errors. All you need to know about your investment.

Person Location

GC-101 is very small and light device (100gr, battery included) that can be attached everywhere, carried by any person or even on pets without any risk.

The device includes 2*A4 batteries and a GSM card. When the person who carries the devices starts moving, the device will start sending to the DTMaps the location and speed of the time. The location is instantly available to the mobile device of the owner.

Please do not confuse the DTMaps system with other GPS tracking systems, where the system gathers information which is only usable when the person is back to its base and the tracking read.

Vehicle & Boat Location

GX-101 is a professional GPS tracking device that is permanently installed on the vehicle and transmits continuously multiple information like:

How To Configure Your SANAV GPS device

The following procedure applied for both the SANAV GS-101 and GX-101 devices. For demo reasons we'll be using: username and 0000 for the user name and password. These values should be replaced with those of your device.
For more details on the command, please refer to the user's manual.
  1. Setup The GPRS APN (Access Point Name).
    Please ask your GSM provider for GPRS settings!

  2. Setup Host Name (URL) in one single line (no spaces)

  3. Setup Auto Report (every 5 minutes)

  4. Request Device IMEI Code (par SMS)

    Keep the IMEI code. 
    You will need it to configure the DTMaps object!!

 Here is how to configure the DTMaps object:

  1. Create a new object in DTMaps.
    (E.g. Fire Detection, Fire Vehicles)
  2. Enter the IMEI code you obtained from the GPS device in the Sensor Id field as show below:

Once this is done, the device associated to the vehicle will send location information regularly to the DTMaps application. The same can be done with other persons, pets or vehicles
